Johnson on pole for the longest race of the year,
At green Saddler goes to front - shifting the gears!
Johnson takes back over - then 1st yellow waves,
Busch takes a wild ride - but makes a great save!

Craven then Johnson lead - but flying is yellow,
Jeremy the victim - he spins and slides into the H2O.
All go pitting - Rookie Johnson again pulls away,
Went green awhile - 'til LaPage made the yellow sway!

It's Johnson and Kenseth as we go back to green,
Fourth caution flying - engine dead in Newman's machine.
Kenseth takes restart - but flying fast is the new Iron Man,
Rudd, then Mark Martin now take command!

Sparks and a blown right - means # 5 is flying for Ward,
Going back to green - still leading Rudd's Ford.
Leads through a long run - then Park takes a spin,
All cars go pitting - but at restart it's Johnson again.

The Rookie leads though ½ way & to a green pit set,
But a little mistake by Johnson hands the lead to Kenseth.
Johnson takes back over - then Mayfield tags the wall,
All drivers now are answering the pit stop call.

It's a stacked restart - so immediately it's caution 8,
Jeff Burton blew up & heads to the garage gate.
Johnson still leads - they're running faster at night,
'Ole Charlie is getting smoother as we loose the light.

Underway are green pits - all leaders cycle through,
Back to the lead is Johnson - then another caution flew.
Leader Johnson tapped Hut - so it's a round of pit stops,
Problems in the pits for Johnson - puts Mark Martin on top!

On restart Martin pulls away - as Junior goes out,
Mark Martin's crew and fan give a million $ shout!
With only a few to go - spinning is Mike Skinner,
But in a long time coming - Martin's again a winner!
