Racing in the Bristol Bow. - not for the weak of heart
It's a double Gordon Pole - but Robbie jumped the start.
Right away a caution - for a spinning Buckshot
Spencer takes over - again things get hot!

Compton the victim - in the 14 Conseco
Then Andretti gets smashed - bringing third yellow.
Green in air - Jeff Gordon to lead again
Then Park goes around - most come on in.

A few stay out - puts Jeff Burton on top
It's beating and banging - doing the Bristol Stomp!
Fifth caution waving - Hermie spins thru turn two
Sterling taps on Benson - the sixth caution flew.

Leader still Jeff Gordon - then Spencer flies by
Jeff just lost it and around he flies!
Skinner caught speeding - too heavy on the pedal
Green flying - brings more trashed sheet metal.

Hut's into Nemechek with a big thud
Now after the yellow - it's Junior's Bud.
Stewart taps Newman - it's almost a great save
Most come in - Stewart leads as green waves!

Leading through half-way - Tony gets a long green
Tenth caution flies - another spinning machine.
Jeff Burton tapped Newman in turn four
Picked up DJ too - into the pits drivers pour.

Junior's out first - the bottle neck is tight
Sterling off speed - cut a tire on his Coors Light.
Another yellow - Kyle tapped Saddler in the back
Robbie also spun - there's oil on the track.

Junior gets the green - then Stewart spins around
Todd Bodine substituting - as green falls down.
Again it's Little "E" - but Kurt Busch is on his tail
Park and Compton tag - who's going to the well?

Busch and Spencer stay out - they play leap frog
But into a long green - they hit a traffic bog.
Caution flying for Hermie - again they stack up
But Busch holds 'em off - first win in Winston Cup!
