Bill Elliott on pole - Rookie Newman outside
Newman takes lead - then sharpie's Busch slips by.
Pit cycles under green - Tony assumes the lead,
First caution now flyin' - due to debris.

Tony takes the restart - 'til a long green brings 'em down
Crowded pits a problem - Bobby Labonte spins around.
Tony back to front & leads through half-way
Junior then passed - leading to second yellow today.

A hard right turn & Dick Trickle is in the wall
Drivers wanting tires - pit stops one & all.
Green in the air - several with loose rear ends
Jeff Green spews oil - yellow is flying again.

Kenseth the leader after a busy pit road
Speedy-dry flying - it's a quick yellow!
The culprit was a window from Brett Bodine
Then Birthday boy Kenseth leads 'em to the line.

Yellow waves for fluid - cuz Harvick's engine blew
Coming to the end - now it's up to the crews.
Final adjustments & fuel calculations being made
Kenseth still leading as the green flag waves.

Barely got going and again yellow's in the air
Most took on four, but some only got a pair!
Benson gets tapped and he spins the Valvoline
Ward still hangs on - as Jimmy throws green.

But Tony & Junior pass him and never look back
Things getting crazy with less than 20 laps to track
Nadeau spins - but no caution appears,
Stewart takes checkered - Junior on his rear!
