Stacy Compton got pole - Hamilton by his side,
Green flag falls - they go 3 and 4 wide!
Sterling took over - then it's Hamilton's Square D,
Next was Junior to lead at Talladegee'!

Lefler then Bodine lead - but tops is Jr. again,
Drivers want four fresh one's and start coming in.
Bobby's battery kicks in - then Mikey shoots through,
Junior on his tail - it's DEI one and two.

Leaders go single file - engines start to purr,
But still a pack behind - the colors begin to blur!
Coming to ½ way - Todd Bodine is in the wall,
Picked up Atwood and Saddler - as 1st yellow falls.

Crews are busy - fuel calculations being made,
Junior on the point - as the restart green waves.
Front group scary close - then Nadeau spins alone,
Some have to come in - or they'll be dry as a bone!

Jeff Burton top dog - then again it's Budwiser,
But of course here comes Hamilton - no surpriser!
Little E hangs on - but has a train on his tail,
Jr. gets the million as the checkered fell!
