Rotors are glowing as they circle round,

Rusty still leading until caution # two.

Craven made a mess - speedy dry is everywhere!
As raindrops fall - so does green in the air.
Eighteen on lead lap - but Rusty still on top,
Then Tony comes up and gives Rusty a bop.

A turn 2 tangle brings all cars to their pit,
Ward "helped" Houston and he wall hit.
Flying high is green - after the 3rd yellow,
On restart - leading now is Rudd's Texeco.

Barely got going and waving is caution 4,
Bush went round and into the pits he'll pour.
Double file restart - Rudd still top dawg,
Then a huge front stretch crash causes a bog!

All sheet metal crumpled but waving again is green,
Tony now fronting his Home Depot machine.
Rusty takes back over - needing a speed fix,
Then something broke loose in Houston's 96.

During the caution all took on tires and gas,
Rusty again out front - then Rudd tries to pass.
Yellow # 7 flies - cuz Nadeau got a bump,
As Jimmy restarts 'em - Rusty gets the jump.

Again Tony takes over - looking for the pay,
Then what a great save - sideways goes DJ!
Blaney on the wall - red is flying on the track,
Restart gives first win this season to Tony and Pontiac.
