Pace laps for raindrops - delayed the ride.
Finally went green - side by side the 32 & 9,
Bill Elliot won that race - led 1st across the line.

Rudd takes over - 'til the green pit scurry,
All need gas and tires - and in and out in a hurry.
Awesome Bill resumes the lead - as several go laps down,
He led all the way - through another green pit round.

Just shy of the ½ - caution flies again for rain,
Mark Martin on top - all now in a red flag pain.
Almost 2 hours delay - then green flies again,
Martin needed gas so Elliot is the train engine.

Here comes Rusty - flying in his Miller Lite,
Looking mighty tough - 'til Rudd gives yellow flight.
Leaders go pitting - will it be four tires or two?
Rain seems near - so the decision is on the crew.

A surprise leader - it's Ron Hornaday,
Then Jeremy steps up and leads the way.
Elliot again leading - but there's battles on the track,
It gets close quarters as DJ gives the wall a smack.

No yellow flies - but we get a lead change,
Marlin has the fastest dame on the range!
Reports of sprinkles and the yellow is thrown,
All fans and drivers let out a big groan!

Cars get slowed - the Silver Bullet still on top,
Some dive in for fuel and a quick pit stop.
Sterling takes the checkered - cuz Glover's rain dance,
Dodge, Sterling, and Coors Light finally got their chance!
