A surprised Jeff Green got his first career pole,
Skinner next to him as the green unfolds.
First caution flies - Buckshot spun in two,
Green again leading until the 2nd caution flew.

Brett Bodine was tapped by Sterling's Coors Lite,
Then another spin - just after green took flight.
No yellow flies - as Buckshot spins again,
Who will stay out and who will come in?

Craven stayed out now has Benson on his tail,
But not even a lap down and 3 cars set sail!
Andretti, Benson, Busch and a couple more,
Bumping and banging - all got donuts on their doors!

Restart green flies - but again they're in a pile,
Park takes lead - as some go to the garage awhile.
Rusty took over - then Skinner gets a smack,
It's been fast action in first hundred on the track!

Rusty gets restart - flying being is the Rainbow,
Actually got some green - 'til Houston brought yellow.
Same two in front - but again can't get laps down,
Nemechek go sliding - as Todd Bodine goes round.

Craven causes mayhem and several more smash,
Finally a long green - 'til they Mikey crash.
Lepage didn't stop - all leaders did the pit glide,
But right after green - Ricky trashes his Tide!

Rusty again in lead - as we get to half way,
Jeff Gordon takes over - 'til 12th caution they obey.
Bill Elliot the victim - as Junior gave him a tap,
Then Todd Bodine in front of Jeff, gets back his lap.

Gordon still on point - as Todd Bodine brings 13,
Again a tangled restart - as Nemechek wrecks at green.
Gordon takes restart, but then Benson's junk metal,
Spencer also gone out - as they push on the pedal!

Caution 16 comes quickly - as Kenseth slides too high,
Gordon keeps lead - but now Stewart and Harvick are nigh.
Stewart leaves Harvick - and has open space-o-plenty,
Does a winning burn out - in his orange number 20.
