A long green run brings pits at a frantic pace,
Then Park blows an engine - 2nd yellow of the race.
Back to a long green - leading is the 24,
Then another caution - slows up the roar.

Pit road was closed - several got a penalty,
Increasing his lead again is Dave Blaney.
Spinning is Todd Bodine - with a loose rear end,
I sure hope he was wearing his depends!

Blaney still leading - 'til something not right,
He's heading to the pits - his lugs not tight.
Kyle is slow then Martin's engine blew,
All leaders come down to attention of their crew.

Before the green - Blaney lost his left rear,
Now several more with problems - too high a gear.
By passing Jarrett - up front again is Nadue,
Kennseth up in flames - the 7th caution flew.

Green again - then Skinner tagged the wall,
DJ & Harvick stay out - others take the pit call.
Smoke now flying from Marlin's silver machine,
Houston slides through the infield as we see green.

Nadue leads DJ - with three are on their tail,
They go 2&3 wide - giving each other hell!
Junior goes out - as we have a photo finish,
Dale Earnhardt's car wins - it's Harvick by inches.
