Darlington - Transouth 500 - 3/20/99

Green flies high to start the game,
Jeff on the Pole at Too Tough to Tame.
Shrader wiggles takes Earnhardt and Nadue,
Raindrops falling - bring caution number 2.

'Bout 3 hours later - went green again,
Mayfield moving tailed by Jeff Burton (tin).
J times 3 - packed in tight,
Watch it guys - the lady bites!

Green set pits now under way,
Burton @ the ½ gets the extra pay.
Clouds coming in - could be more rain,
This year's weather sure is a pain!

Smoke on the front - cars do stack,
Also got more mist on the track,
3rd yellow out - the 99 in first,
Limping round his tires have burst.

Got Irwin, Irvan and Little Ricky,
Avoiding her stripe is so tricky!
All rain soaked - waving the red,
Jeff Burton won - shaking his head.
